Last week, Shropshire Homes installed a defibrillator at our newest development, Mytton Oak Manor in Shrewsbury.
Early defibrillation can increase survival rates of cardiac arrests by 50-70%, so having them readily available in as many locations as possible is incredibly important.
Jon Sharrock, IT Manager at Shropshire Homes and Chair of Shifnal Shockers, a defibrillator fundraising group in Shifnal, has spearheaded our initiative to donate public access defibrillators to all communities that we build in. He said, “we’re proud to have donated such a valuable resource to the community of Shrewsbury.”
