CSR Statement 

At Shropshire Homes, we pride ourselves on being a socially responsible organisation and choose to use our success to benefit the communities that we are part of. This includes the community of employees and contractors that make Shropshire Homes what we are, the new communities that take shape as residents move onto our developments, and the existing communities in the areas that we arrive in. We have long-standing supporter relationships with a number of charitable organisations including Shropshire Wildlife Trust, Shrewsbury Town in the Community and Energize Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin. 

In recent years we have been proud to support schools and businesses around our developments with fundraising activities and community events, such as a music festival in Newport and a junior football tournament in Ludlow. All of the organisations that we support make significant positive contributions to Shropshire and the surrounding areas, in-keeping with our values as a local independent business.

We believe in supporting the health and well-being of our colleagues, providing mental health first aid training and encouraging an environment of care and compassion.  We have a successful apprenticeship scheme, supporting talented and ambitious newcomers to the industry, and offer extensive training opportunities to existing employees as well.

We endeavour to continue making valuable contributions to the communities that we are part of and strive for outcomes that benefit as many as possible.
