Last weekend, Little Explorers Nursery, based at Brown Clee Primary School in Ditton Priors, celebrated the opening of their new baby room, and were kind enough to invite Managing Director Richard Shackleton to attend and cut the ribbon!
The expansion to the nursery comes following greater demand for childcare for children under the age of one since the government introduced its 30 hours funded childcare scheme for babies over the age of nine months.
In rural areas such as Ditton Priors, there aren’t many places that take children from nine months, so the expansion of Little Explorers will allow them to meet the needs of families in the local area.
Alongside months of hard work by the fantastic Little Explorers team, Shropshire Homes were pleased to support the expansion through supplying the new kitchen, which was installed by our site team from Derrington Meadows, and carrying out groundworks to facilitate the new build.
Shropshire Homes are always proud to support the local communities in the areas we build, and are really pleased to have been involved with a project that will bring such a great impact to families in the local area.

A huge congratulations and thank you to all those involved in this brilliant project, and to the Little Explorers team for inviting us to their grand opening!
