Shropshire Homes' Ledwyche Rise development is set in the heart of the idyllic Ludlow countryside, featuring a range of our house types from our Legacy and Classic Collections. Among the many families and individuals that have found their dream home at Ledwyche Rise are Joy, Ieuan and their twin daughters, Amelia and Erin, who have recently moved into a Grasmere, also known on other developments as a Ryton.
For Joy and Ieuan, the journey to their Grasmere home began with a simple sighting of the Shropshire Homes’ Ledwyche Rise development being advertised locally. When Joy and Ieuan found out they were having twins, they knew it was time to move to a larger home and it turned out to be the best decision they made.
Their Grasmere home, part of the esteemed Classic Collection, has quickly become a sanctuary for their family. Joy beamed as she described her favourite features, "Our ensuite is absolutely amazing. We got to choose the perfect tiles, and it's so spacious. The island in our kitchen is a dream – it's where our family gathers, and I just love it. Plus, the room sizes are incredibly generous, especially in the bedrooms." Joy and Ieuan chose their tiles from the Porcelanosa range, offering the highest quality tiles.
Joy added, "It’s not just a kitchen; it’s the heart of our home. It's open-plan, with a dining area and a lovely island in the middle. There's even a seating area. I enjoy cooking even more now, thanks to this wonderful space.”
What truly made their journey exceptional was the support they received from the dedicated team at Shropshire Homes, particularly mentioning Sales Executive, Jill and Site Manager, Phil, "They helped us build our dream home, all while we were adjusting to life with newborn twins. Being new parents was stressful enough, but deciding to buy our first home was an even bigger challenge. We couldn’t have done it without them. Our family home is perfect, and our girls have a stunning house to grow up in. Jill and Phil have watched them grow – from the time we first met them when the girls were just two weeks old to moving into our beautiful home when they were five and a half months old. We will be forever grateful. Thank you both so much."
Joy and Ieuan also gave a special mention to Andy, Assistant Quality Control Manager and part of our handover team, who was extremely thorough in handover and made the process stress-free.
We would like to thank Joy, Ieuan and their beautiful twin daughters for letting us share their story and for making our house their home. We wish you many years of happiness in your Grasmere!
