The festive season is in full swing and we’ve got some top tips on how you can make your home extra Christmassy this year!
Light it up
Use lots of Christmas lights to light up your space. Remember to use warm fairy lights – these are great for creating a cosy ambience!
Find your perfect Christmas tree!
If you’re one for a real tree, make sure you take extra care to maintain your tree throughout the festive period – the upside of having a real Christmas tree is that you get the real pine smell!
Alternatively, if you choose to have an artificial tree, make sure to choose a realistic looking one and get yourself some scented Christmas tree spray to add to the effect!
Choose a festive colour palette
This year’s Christmas colour palettes include deep reds, dark greens and rich neutrals, which look sophisticated, yet traditional. Choose your colours and keep them consistent throughout your home – from candles and napkins to baubles and wreaths!
Make your home smell of Christmas
From candles and diffusers to cleaning products - choose wisely this Christmas! There are lots of festive smelling candles around, but often we don’t think about our cleaning products over the festive period – companies like Purdy & Figg offer collections of Christmas smelling cleaning products and they smell glorious! Alternatively, lots of the supermarket brands offer Christmas scented products.
