Whitehall Gardens is a stunning gated development located in Abbey Foregate, showcasing the very best of Shropshire Homes’ quality and character. Find out why Whitehall Gardens might be your perfect home…
What homes does Whitehall Gardens offer?
Whitehall Gardens is comprised of just 25 homes, with 18 bespoke new builds and 7 exquisite converted cottages.
The new build home collection has been thoughtfully designed exclusively for Whitehall Gardens, drawing inspiration from the classic features of the surrounding historic buildings and incorporating traditional, high-quality materials throughout the construction process.
Our remaining new build homes, The Manor, The Abbey and The Gate House, each enjoy a spacious layout across three floors, with beautiful finishes and a range of impressive features.

Whitehall cottages were originally built in the 18th century as stables in the grounds of Whitehall Mansion, expanded over three phases of construction to the structure that exists today. They will be converted into 7 individual cottage plots, each maintaining a range of original features.
Our final remaining cottage, 2 Dovecote Gardens, is a characterful one bedroom, two-storey home, with an open-plan design downstairs and a modern principal suite upstairs.
The Whitehall Gardens Difference:
Our homes at Whitehall Gardens are exclusive to the development, and enjoy a more luxurious standard specification than our core range of homes.
All homes are allocated at least one parking space, as well as private EV charging stations.
The development enjoys multiple beautiful outdoor spaces, and has the benefit of being gated, providing a private and quiet atmosphere.
The development will also retain many historical features alongside the cottages, including the original wall of the Mansion’s walled garden, and the impressive dovecote.
The dovecote was constructed in the 16th century, and is still in its original state, complete with nesting holes and the revolving ladder, which is still in working order. The dovecote is not planned for renovation, but will undergo necessary structural repairs and then be left as a stunning historical feature in the open space of the development.
