On Friday evening, Shropshire Homes attended the Shropshire Chambers of Business Awards as finalists of the Shropshire Company of the Year, putting them in the top four businesses in Shropshire.
With four impressively outstanding Shropshire based companies, Aico, Dodd Group, Reech and Shropshire Homes, in the final for the Company of the Year Award, the competition was tough. Ultimately, there could only be one winner and that was Aico, which was very well deserved!
Shropshire Homes are beyond proud to have been shortlisted to the top four companies of the year in Shropshire, particularly as there was a record-breaking number of entries for the Shropshire Chambers Business Awards this year.
Richard Shackleton, Managing Director at Shropshire Homes, commented “I was delighted that the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce recognised the efforts of the team here at Shropshire Homes by taking us through to the finals of the Company of the Year award, naturally I was disappointed we didn’t win, however to get into the top 4 businesses in the county is a fantastic achievement and everyone involved at Shropshire Homes should be very proud.”
Over the course of the last year, Shropshire Homes have implemented a new green initiative, reducing brochure printing by 85%, using bamboo business cards, installing solar panels and much more (read more here: https://www.shropshire-homes.com/news/why-buy-shropshire-homes-20). As well as introducing a new wellness initiative for employees, including ‘Learning Lunches’ and ‘Wellness Wednesdays’. Shropshire Homes intend to grow these initiatives and introduce new ones as they continue to grow.
A huge congratulations to all winners and finalists of the Shropshire Chambers of Business Awards and a special well done to all at Aico. We look forward to the 2024 awards!
