On Tuesday, Managing Director of Shropshire Homes, Richard Shackleton attended the Commonwealth Games Celebration Event hosted by School Games at Energize.
School games is an organisation ran by Energize in partnership with Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin councils. Energize are a local charity who work collaboratively with local and national partners to provide facilities for an active nation through sport and physical activity.
The Commonwealth Games Celebration Event involved schools competing in boxing, arts & crafts, basketball, rugby, squash and orienteering at Sundorne Sports Village, Shrewsbury. During the event, Chief Executive of Energize, Chris Child presented Richard Shackleton with a framed School Games t-shirt, medal and certificate in thanks for 10 years of sponsorship.
During the event, Richard Shackleton confirmed continued sponsorship from Shropshire Homes, “It’s fantastic to support such an excellent organisation. Energize deliver a great programme of sporting events across the county and beyond, and we’ve pledged to continue our support and sponsorship for the foreseeable”.
