Local independent house builder Shropshire Homes Ltd reaches a significant milestone in 2021, completing an impressive four decades of building homes in and around the county.
Shropshire Homes began in 1981 with small developments near Newport and Ellesmere and has steadily grown in size to employ over 100 people, many of whom who have been with the company for over 25 years. It also has a long association with many subcontractors and professional advisers with whom it has worked for many years.
Over 2700 homes have now been built by Shropshire Homes, ranging from award-winning conversions of listed buildings to a broad range of family and prestigious executive homes in town and country. There are many more to come as the company has over 1000 more plots in the pipeline.

Shropshire Homes has recently undertaken a substantial review of all its house types to ensure that it continues to meet the requirements of homebuyers for the next 40 years, with innovations such as electrical vehicle charging points and increased energy efficiency as standard.
