Shropshire Homes are reaching a significant milestone in 2026, completing an impressive 45 years of building homes in and around Shropshire.
Beginning in 1981 with a small team, building developments of one or two houses, Shropshire Homes has steadily grown to have now completed over 3500 homes and employ over 100 people, many of whom have been with the company for over 20 years.
With an ethos of “character and quality” and always trying to seek out interesting opportunities and locations, the company has gone from strength to strength whilst maintaining its strong family-firm culture.

The secret behind this success has been the same people-led values enjoyed for 45 years reflected in the staff that the company invest in – recruiting, training and developing in an enjoyable working environment.

Moving into the future, the creation of our sister business, SH Partnerships, is an important development for Shropshire Homes Group, focusing on delivering housing in partnership with Registered Providers with the same ethos to make a real difference in our local area.
