Shropshire Homes recently constructed and gifted a timber framed gazebo to Orleton Primary School as a gesture of goodwill for their support and understanding throughout the development’s build.
Head Master of Orleton Primary School, Adam Breakwell, thanked Shropshire Homes, “As a school community we are delighted by the gazebo and landscaping work that Shropshire Homes have kindly undertaken for us.
“The area where the gazebo sits was developed, with a limited budget, last year in honour of Ann Jones, one of our kitchen staff who unfortunately died. She loved working with the wonderful children at school and was also passionate about flowers and plants. Thanks to Shropshire homes we have been able to properly boarder the new bed with sleepers, put down a lovely base of yellow gravel and have the wonderful gazebo.
“It will provide shelter from the sun in the summer and is already being used on wet days by the children to sit under, chat and tell stories to each other. We have added some additional planting so the children will be able to pick strawberries and raspberries when they are in season next year”.
Shropshire Homes are proud to have provided this wonderful area that the school will enjoy utilising. In addition to this, Shropshire Homes built a new car park for Orleton Primary School just last year, making pick-up and drop-off easier for parents, as well as parking for the staff and school’s visitors (pictured below).
