Shropshire Homes install latest defibrillator in Whitchurch

Defib
12th December, 2025

This week, Shropshire Homes donated and installed another defibrillator in Shropshire. With Foundry Point development in Whitchurch now build complete, Shropshire Homes needed to find a permanent home for the defibrillator. Wanting to keep the defib close to Foundry Point, Medivets who are situated opposite kindly offered to host it, whilst Shropshire Homes will still manage and maintain it.

As part of Shropshire Homes’ initiative to donate a defibrillator to every community they build in, twelve live defibrillators have now been donated and installed across Shropshire.

Shropshire Homes IT Manager, Jon Sharrock, has been the one to really drive the initiative and is also part of a fundraising group called Shifnal Shockers who donate and install defibrillators, “It’s great to get another defibrillator installed. Our defibs across Shropshire have already been utilised in emergencies so it really does show how worthwhile it is for us to donate them to the communities we build in”.
