Shropshire Homes are pleased to have been granted planning permission for the development of 102 dwellings and an 80-bed care home on land to the north of Mytton Oak Road in Shrewsbury.

This will be the first phase of a 400 unit development and will offer a variety of two, three, and four bedroom dwellings, and includes 18 properties available for affordable rent, and 8 available for shared ownership.

As part of the scheme Shropshire Homes will be contributing £3.3 million to Shropshire County Council for community infrastructure development, including provision for healthcare, education, and traffic mitigation.

Managing Director Richard Shackleton commented “We are delighted to have been granted planning permission on this development. It will be our largest development to date, and we are excited to continue providing homes of quality and character for the people of Shropshire.”
