Last week, a team of us from Shropshire Homes volunteered with CPRE to plant hedgerows in Shropshire, as part of their Hedgerow Heroes campaign.
CPRE are a countryside charity, whose main goal is to make the countryside a better place to live, work and enjoy. Planting hedges provides shelter, reduces erosion and supports wildlife, helping to reinforce the character of the local landscape.
So, in a bid to give back to our community and support the local area, a team from Shropshire Homes took part in hedge planting, just 4 miles from our upcoming development, Derrington Meadows in Ditton Priors. All who took part found it very rewarding and look forward to seeing the hedges grow over time.
