Shropshire Homes made a significant contribution to Ludlow's community on Monday by delivering two life-saving defibrillators. Lucie Watson, Field Sales Manager, and Rebecca Hayward, Marketing Executive, met with Louis from Ludlow Community First Responders for the official handover. The defibrillators are installed at Shropshire Homes' developments, Ledwyche Rise and Quarry Place.
Jon Sharrock, IT Manager at Shropshire Homes and Chair of Shifnal Shockers, a defibrillator fundraising group in Shifnal, expressed his pride in the donation, stating, "We are delighted to provide these public access defibrillators to the Ludlow community."
Ludlow Community First Responders, a group relying solely on public donations to operate the Ludlow Community Responder Scheme, greatly benefit from these donated defibrillators, enabling them to continue their vital support for the local community.
This donation is part of Shropshire Homes' new initiative to supply a defibrillator to the communities of each development. In addition to Ludlow, Shropshire Homes recently donated a defibrillator to Cross Houses village, near their Head Office, and to Priorslee, home to Woodhouse Farm.
