We are excited to announce that Sarah Newton, Senior Business Support Administrator, and Megan Giles, Business Support Administrator recently enrolled on a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship.
Sarah and Megan will complete the course while working at Shropshire Homes, attending Shrewsbury college one day a week over 18 months.
Sarah who was recently promoted from Business Support Administrator to Senior Business Support Administrator has worked full-time at Shropshire Homes since April 2022. On speaking to Sarah about the course, she said “I hope the course will further my career at Shropshire Homes, whilst progressing in my role and expanding my knowledge.”
Sarah added “Everyone at Shropshire Homes is so supportive in everything I do, the staff are very family orientated, and we all get on so well.”
Megan has worked as a Business Support Administrator at Shropshire Homes since May 2022. Megan hopes that the business course will expand her knowledge in IT, business fundamentals, regulations and policies, which she will be able to apply to her role.
Megan is particularly grateful for the opportunity to work 25 hours per week and study as she lives a very busy life with two lively children, “I have a young family and Shropshire Homes have been so brilliant and flexible with my working hours, allowing me to work around my home life. I love how they are supporting me on this journey with going back to college and helping me develop my skills and expand my knowledge.”
